I just wanted to thank everbody who has been coming to the track for the past two months helping me out to get everything ready for the opening day! There are so many to thank. Jr, Brian, and Kevin Drake for putting the track together. Ron and Bruce for helping with the problems with the water truck Bill Groves for doing the bathroom decks Barto Tom Eaton for just helping with everything! No one was more disapointed about the rain than me! We will just add another race add the end of the year for a make up race. Thanks again guys and I will see you all on May 17. Todd R. Nice track! Reminds me of El Toro ack when I was racing TQ's (early 70's), tucked away in the hills. I brought a friend to Barona last year. I'm doing it again this year for the opener. Have a great season!

Checked out the mini dwarf rules. Am I missing it or does anybody understand why porting and polishing a head in a kid's racing class is legal? Doesn't seem to make any sense...

I would like to make it to all of the races next year to have some more fun for the 2003 season. When will you have the schedule out for next year? I had heard that you are going to keep the same schedule as far as the every other week. But how many races are the street stocks going to have? Well thanks again and I can't wait till next year.

I just wanted to let anyone who did not know that this Saturday November 2nd that we are going to be having our last practice of the year. Gates will open at 2 pm and the cars will run from 4pm til 8pm. The cost will be $30 per car and $5 for pit passes.

what would take to get a go kart class or two started up out at Barona. I'm from central california, and still have my race karts. I moved to san diego two years ago and droped racing due to lack of a track. I was looking into cajon "speedway" but was dissapointed to find out that they made a sprint course out of the speedway. anyways it sounds like barona could be a great karting track. if anybody has karts or would be interested in running one, please e-mail me. maybe we could get something started.

as of now there are very few to race at barona speedway; mabe thats why we all have a good time there.the rules are general simular to elcajons but not as strict. safty is every ones main concern none of us want to see any body get injured.belts,helmet,firesuits,gloves,roll cage,fuel cells are some of the requirments if you have any quistions call the track they will be very helpfull

We had some really good racing Saturday night! We went a little late with the accidents but some good racing. I would also like to thank JR Drake doing one of the best surfaces that we have had all year. After he graded it at intermission it was very smooth. Cya in two weeks!

I have known him and his family for many many years and my life will not be the same without him in it (who's gonna critic my pictures and help print my black and white stuff???).I know alot of you are feeling the loss and I hope to see many of you this Saturday, the 24th, for a moment of silence. love the track have not been to a dirt track in years. would love to take a turn in a dwarf or a legends car if anyone is interested contact me. I have raced go carts on asphalt and dirt also formula fords,and off road in the 70's co drove the winning car in class 6 baja 500. test my brothers street stock dirt car at one time.
